  1. From the home screen, select search.
  2. Select the search bar and type the name of the app you'd like to find and press the enter key on your keyboard.
  1. From the home screen, select start.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Apps.
  4. Select Default apps.
  5. Select Choose defaults by file type.
  6. Scroll to the desired file type and select the existing default app.
  7. Select the app you'd like to use, then tap Set default.
  1. To change the search engine in Edge:
  2. From the home screen, select start.
  3. Select Edge.
  4. Select more.
  5. Select Settings.
  6. Select Privacy, search, and services.
  7. Scroll down and select Address bar and search.
  8. Select the drop down next to Search engine used in the address bar.
  9. Select the search engine you'd like to use.
  1. To set the start page in Edge:
  2. From the home screen, select start.
  3. Select Edge.
  4. Select more.
  5. Select Settings.
  6. Select Start, home, and new tabs.
  7. Select Add a new page.
  8. Type the address you'd like to use and select Add.
