| ABS Quality Control Evaluation (QCE)
Although ABS mainly focuses on providing the best high-end gaming machines, customer satisfaction. Without our customers, ABS would not be what it is today. To ensure that our customers receive the highest quality possible, there are several steps taken to prevent possible disasters that may occur in the future.

CREATING THE BEST SYSTEM
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality control is the means by which we prove to our customers that our computers are built with the highest quality. With this promise, our quality control technicians thoroughly check the system's hardware/software by performing numerous performance benchmarks before shipping. However, even before our systems reach the production phase, we conduct strenuous research to determine which system and configuration we will decide upon for sale.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Research and Development is one of the most important aspects of ABS. This phase demonstrates the quality and performance of the systems we sell today. During the this operation of the development lifecycle, our technicians find the best combination of components to ensure the most stable, reliable, and the highest performing system to compete in the competitive market of today. When the system completes the development phase, it's time for testing.
REAL-WORLD TESTING
There are several steps we take to test a potential system: We check every component to ensure performance, system noise level, heat dissipation, and backwards compatibility. We also do heavy stress testing to test system stability and reliability under extreme performance circumstances to ensure a long lifespan of our systems. In the event that an issue arises between a system and certain software, the vendor of the hardware component is contacted to find a resolution before we release it to the public.
TEST ENVIRONMENT
During our testing, we use 3 different phases to organize our testing procedures. This creates an easy to read documentation for our internal development team in case an issue arises or a question needs to be answered.
The first stage primarily focuses on performance results in both synthetic and real-world applications. We often use this stage to perform comparative results with competitor/other systems to analyze the performance difference between the systems. Stage 2 primarily consists of tuning up the BIOS and optimizing operating systems. In addition, some steps related to production preparation, such as logos and manufacturer ID, are also implemented. In the final stage, our technicians perform long and strenuous tests to ensure the stability/reliability of the system is in par with industry standards. In addition, various compatibility tests are also performed with documentation to report any fallacies that occurred during the time of testing. The whole life cycle of the procedure lasts for approximately 18-21 business days.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3 PHASE PROCESS - How your system is tested
PHASE-1 - Performance
This phase is the “performance” phase where we use several different benchmarking applications to record results of the system. Each application consists of specific benchmarking methods which are mainly synthetic. Every application used gives us a general idea of what to expect from the system's performance and allows our team to produce accurate comparative results that help us to expand our ideas beyond the boundaries of ABS.
Through this first phase, our technicians are able to configure/develop future products that can surpass the performance of our current systems based on the results from the applications. Therefore, the applications used were chosen based on the industry standard that most test centers use.
For desktops, we tests each application 3 times in 2 different memory configurations specified from the original configuration. Usually, a 1GB (2x512MB) and a 2GB (2x1024MB) configuration are used unless we have a special situation. So a total of 3 runs per category within the benchmarking application will be performed. This helps to ensure the stability of the system and keeps the system under load to prepare the system for the quality evaluation.
PHASE-2 - Optimization
In Phase 2, we optimize the BIOS setting to ensure the best performance based on stability. We then will determine the best version of the drivers to use to ensure the best performance of the system, and then we optimize the settings of all drivers. All drivers and settings will then be integrated into our restore solution disc to ensure that the system will provide a quick and easy restoration in the unfortunate event of a disaster. This also makes sure that once you restore your system back to factory setting, you will get all settings back in their original place. With the restore solution, phase-3 becomes easier to work with, as one of the tests conducted in phase-3 is the ability to recover the OS without any issues.
The Restore DVD holds various drivers, applications, and files to ensure a smooth installation without any hassle. Installing the OS on RAID controllers is essentially “hassle free” as a 3 rd party floppy disk is no longer required during the installation of the OS.
PHASE-3 - Stability
Phase 3 is the final testing environment where every component is evaluated for reliability, compatibility, and stability. This phase is one of the most strenuous and elaborate tests during the QCE (Quality Control Evaluation). Numerous software application testing, hardware verification/functionality, and compatibility tests are conducted during this phase. On the hardware side, we check all optical capabilities, proper construction, functionality of chassis operators such as power switches, status indicators, and proper airflow/liquid flow within the system chassis. On the software side, we check proper software functionality, compatibility, and stability to ensure that the system will be capable of functioning on basic software. Within the application testing we use various games. These games are used to test the stability of the hardware and to fish out any bugs. This coincidentally parallels our evaluation for software stability.
The entire lifecycle of QCE is approximately 18 days assuming that all variables are consistent. We at ABS believe that quality is the number 1 priority for our products and we do not intend to compromise quality by any means.

BENCHMARK TESTING
Our ABS Test Center technicians use a variety of strenuous performance tests and utilities to conduct a no-holds-barred analysis of your system before it gets sent out.
For Desktops and Notebooks:
We test all desktop and notebook systems using the 3DMark and PCMark benchmark utilities, and we put them through graphics testing as well. Notebooks also undergo
battery-life tests.
3DMark® is the worldwide standard in advanced 3D game performance benchmarking. A fundamental tool for every company in the PC industry as well as PC users and gamers, 3DMark06 uses advanced real-time 3D game workloads to measure PC performance using a suite of DirectX 9 3D graphics tests, CPU tests, and 3D feature tests. 3DMark06 tests include all new HDR/SM3.0 graphics tests, SM2.0 graphics tests, AI and physics driven single and multiple cores or processor CPU tests and a collection of comprehensive feature tests to reliably measure next generation gaming performance today.
