ABS MegaCam 421M/422M Pan/Tilt Mega-Pixel Cameras Launched

Surveillance cameras have gotten powerful and inexpensive at the same time, and in the digital age, they can even join your local network. Nor do you have to be on-site to monitor, as you can set it up to be Internet accessible as well, or view it on your 3G cellphone.

ABS has designed a camera that has it all: pan and tilt, a 1.3 megapixel color image sensor, infrared illuminator diodes for operation in the dark, a built-in microphone (with an optional speaker, you can use it as an intercom), you can even set it up as a motion detector and have it email you in the event it detects movement. It can also be set to automatic scanning, when you need to cover a large area automatically. The free software allows you to set up a surveillance network of up to 16 cameras and view and record them.

ABS MegaCam 4210/4220 Pan/Tilt Network Cameras Launched

ABS MegaCam 4210/4220 network camera features two-way audio, wide range pan and tilt
( 355° pan and 100° tilt ), intelligent motion detection with up to 4 zones detection window, and infrared LEDs which allow you to see in the dark. Also, it comes with software that will let you monitor up to sixteen cameras simultaneously.

You can connect the MegaCam 4210/4220 to the network by using either CAT 5 or CAT 6 Ethernet cables, and you can also connect the MegaCam 4220 to the network by wireless.
